We are looking for great primary practitioners to support our work with a group of Partner Schools in the Midlands... could this be you?

We are looking for teachers who could support KS2 in our partner schools to develop literacy and numeracy in the classroom. The people appointed would work as part of a team with EdisonLearning Achievement Advisers. Our approach to school improvement is research based and holistic linking leadership, pedagogy and assessment.

The Associate Practitioner would need to commit to between 15 to 35 days work over the 2012-13 school year.

Associate Practitioners could work on a freelance basis or, with the agreement and commitment of the Headteacher, be seconded from their post in school for the required number of days.

At the core of their work would be enabling teachers to implement successfully a number of strategies and approaches EdisonLearning have developed from our analysis of global research on learning.

The people we are looking for will have a record of:

  • Consistently ‘good’ teaching in KS2
  • Enabling good or better progress in their classes
  • Maintaining positive relationships with work colleagues
  • Communicating enthusiasm about learning and teaching

And they will have a willingness to model and work alongside teachers in our Partner Schools.

If you think this is you, please call Maggie McConnell on 01376 562953 for an initial discussion and to find out the next steps in the process.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Our team at EdisonLearning has been recruited to ensure we have a rich blend of experience, credibility and personal strengths to offer our partners and clients.

I have not been disappointed since and it has been a privilege to work with people that share and live out this passion, both in the company and in schools.
