QWhat is the Connected Curriculum?

AThe Connected Curriculum is a structured framework of half termly themed Learning Units for each year group, covering Foundation subjects and Science that are mapped to and cover the National Curriculum requirements. It addresses Excellence and Enjoyment in making motivating and creative cross curricular links and providing exciting contexts for pupils’ learning. It accommodates and assumes some discrete teaching of Literacy and Numeracy through the Framework and supports development of Community Cohesion and Global Citizenship.
